State Abortion Bans Threaten Nearly 7 Million Black Women
Our latest report, in collaboration with In Our Own Voice: National Black Women’s Reproductive Justice Agenda, shows that 57 percent of all Black women of reproductive age live in the 26 states that have banned or are likely to ban abortion.
Black Maternal Health Crisis
Too many Black women are dying in pregnancy and childbirth. We need systemic change to end this crisis and ensure communities are healthier and more responsive to Black women’s needs.
